Markers for Intra-fractional Tracking
Fleximarc G/T
The Fleximarc G/T consists of two knurled gold nodes connected by a thin titanium filament. Because of the low density and high magnetic susceptibility of titanium, this marker images as two distinct markers in CT/kV/CBCT, while having enhanced visibility in MRI. The Fleximarc G/T’s titanium connector virtually disappears in kV, making it the ideal marker for tracking with Accuray’s Synchrony or Varian’s ABH tracking algorithm.

Spaced FusionCoil
The Spaced FusionCoil marker consists of two 5mm open spiral gold coil with titanium alloy cores separated by a 15MM bioabsorbable spacer, reducing needle sticks and providing a stable, defined spacing between the markers to facilitate Synchrony and Varian’s ABH tracking algorithms. Also, because of the low density and high magnetic susceptibility of titanium, the FusionCoil’s unique design reduces the CT imaging artifact seen with other gold markers while enhancing visibility in MRI.
FC-102-NB FusionCoil 1.0 MM x 5.0 MM - 2 Node, 15 MM Bioabsorbable Space in an 18 GA-20 CM long needle
Stranded Gold Markers
Stranded Gold Markers consist of two 1.0mm x 3.0mm gold markers separated by a bioabsorbable spacer, providing a 2.0cm center-to-center marker spacing. This configuration offers the benefit of two sterile markers preloaded into each 18-gauge needle, yielding a fixed marker spacing perfect for prostate CBCT alignment and motion tracking with less needle sticks for the patient. Stranded Gold Markers are a great, cost-effective marker option when MRI image fusion is not prescribed.
Bioabsorbable spacer naturally adheres to tissue, inhibiting marker occlusion and migration
Spacer ensures consistent marker spacing for easy pre-treatment identification and intrafractional tracking
Clearly visible in kV, MV, CBCT, CT, and ultrasound
Easily tracked in Accuray’s Synchrony or Varian Auto Beam Hold (ABH)
